Tranquil Rural Setting
|
|
Set amongst 30 acres of lightly-wooded, grazing land is the rambling
homestead, built in 1988. (See the aerial photo below … dial up users
be patient!)
Two acres of landscaped gardens feature an extensive
orchard, rose garden, numerous native plantings and a vegetable patch,
bursting with fresh produce.

Do we grow
Lavender?
Yes we do, but not
commercially ...
only as a border to the native garden
which is the first thing you'll see when you arrive.
Wisteria covered Pergola
Follow the path past the pool.
The Wisteria covered pergola provides welcome shade in summer, while
allowing the warmth of the winter sun through when it is bare in the colder
months.

Stunning Pool
|
|
The saltwater pool is solar-heated which means the temperature is fit for
swimming for 9 months of the year. The shallow areas around the deck are
ideal for the littlies, without sacrificing deep water for the grownups!
The bottlebrush hedge, behind the waterfall, attracts a wide range of
native birds.

Out the Back
|
|
A huge verandah stretches the full
length of the house and looks out over the property to the pine forests.
It’s
a great place to sit and watch kangaroos graze at dusk while you take in
spectacular sunsets, that’s if you can drag yourself out of the spa!
